Measured Survey FAQs
A measured survey, also referred to a measured building surveys involves a visit to your home by one or two of our friendly professionals who record accurate dimensions of your properties current measurements. They will use safe laser measuring equipment, a traditional tape measure, and take photos of the interior and exterior.
You may not need a measured survey if you have previously carried out building work on your home. If you are handy, and confident you can measure up accurately yourself, we may be able to skip to the next stage. However most of our clients don't have to time or equipment to adequetly complete their own surveys, and opt for a BeforeBricks survey pro 99% of the time.
Yes, all our measured survey packages include a site visit with measured survey and a set of survey drawings. No hidden costs or addtional fees.
No, we do not carry out any building works. We are a design and planning company. However, we do have an extensive network of reliable and trusted partners that we are happy to connect you with.
Payment can be made once we've issued you a quote and invoice. To pay, you need to follow the instructions on your invoice. Some invoices may have a deposit option, allowing you to pay a 50% for us to get started.
